Everyone is different! What may work for you does not always work for every model, but personally, when I’m planning a photoshoot I like to plan everything ahead of time.

To plan right for your upcoming photoshoot, there are a few items you’ll want to check off your list to ensure that it goes as smoothly as possible and that you leave feeling great about your new images.
Brainstorm - Prepare for your photoshoot. Have ideas, reference image, concepts, wardrobe, accessories and other details ready for your upcoming photoshoot.
Communication - Discuss what you have planned for the photoshoot with the photographer. Share images and ideas together so both you and the photographer can invest time to brainstorm together for the upcoming photoshoot. So everything goes smooth on the day of the shoot.
Music - I like to play background music that gets the model in the right headspace. Whether it be energizing, upbeat tunes, mellow ones, or even something sensual, the right music can really enhance the environment and the photoshoot experience. So bring along some music to play on your phone. It always help during the photoshoot.
Organize - Having everything that you need for your photoshoot organized and ready to go the day before so that you’re not frantically rushing around the morning of your shoot, gathering bits and pieces. Bring items or wardrobe that you may not need as well. You never know what may change your mind to wear something different at the shoot. This way, you have additional options than what's planned.
Last Minute Planning - As your photoshoot approaches, if you have any questions or concerns, bring them up to your photographer! Do this ahead of time so that you feel prepared and confident come the day of your shoot.
Relax - Get in the right headspace as you start your photoshoot and trust the process and planning as we start with the first click to create photos that makes you feel good about our work together.
